Hi People,

Thought it maybe wise I’d introduce myself on here as currently trying to get back into a Clio after many years away from them.

I joined this forum a very long time ago when I owned a Ph1 172, which I loved. I gradually grew out of the car, sold it to my brother who is now on his third Clio!

Anyways, in case anyone is interested in what I drive right now, namely a 18 Plate Golf GTI and I have a 56 Plate Panda 100HP as a bit of fun.

I’m in Sunny Scotland and trying to get my hands on a nice 172 Cup or 182 to replace the Panda.

You never really leave Cliosport... lol

What do you reckon you'll get for the 100HP? I've been looking at those for a family car - the missus only specified four doors, she never said anything about the size of the boot... haha

Yes, it certainly seems that way mate. I've always appreciated RS Clios and woke up one morning wanting another one!

There is probably 2k in the Panda. Mine is a particularly solid example in my opinion with FSH, a folder full of receipts and old MOTs. I've had it a few years and during my ownership its had the Timing Belt done, new shocks, springs, top mounts, proper OE Spec tyres, wheels refurbed, new discs and pads etc. Its basically wanted for nothing.

It is a fun little car for sure but not exactly on the same level as an RS Clio in terms of dynamics. Not sure id want it as a family car either but it could be interesting!

I must admit, I do like a Golf. This is my third with previous ones being a GTD and an R Estate, which was probably my favourite.

Thought I’d add a few pics of my bro’s two titanium 182’s.

One is a pretty standard road car on 15” super legs and the other is full spec race car with gripper, AST’s etc etc
