New rear ;) non sport content

  e92 330i
Purchased a 172 rear bumper off eBay, in the right colour which saves a job, and what fun fitting that can be! Haven't got any pics of the change over just the end result. But I can say it's harder then removing the front, especially as I left the rear wheels on!

Now not sure if this is usual but the rear arch lining wouldn't connect to the bumper, because it's wider?? But with cable ties in hand and 4 spare screws I can say it's stayed in place for a week, Bodge weight saving ftw!

Few more piccies

Yes I'm aware it needs lows (and alloys), springs are on the Xmas list!

Looks loads better than the non sport rear bumper, can't wait to get one myself.

Will look sound when you get some alloys and lower it. Door handles also need colour coding IMO. Any reason why they haven't already been done?

Looks good.

As you said you'll need sport arch liners as its wider if you want a tidy job :)
Get it dropped and some new shoes on it

Yeah I cba yet as I use it most the time, but it will get done. When u do I advise you take off the rear wheels, it's a bugger otherwise.

lol, u pansy! I removed & fitted the new one within the hour, on my own ;)

Looks ten times better tho! :)

When you do the door handles, i would advise you buy new ones from renault, pre-primered as this will save you a lot of hassel. they are a bit fiddly to fit though :(

The rear bumper makes a huge difference. Good job on fitting it!

flol at those granny trims, steelies are miles better.

Lower it and alloys, as said above. Also get rid of that aerial, its fooking massive!

Haha get out of it! Excuse me, I also did it solo, in mild rain, with a halfrauds toy tool set. Few scratches n cuts (on me) but I got there in the end! Lol might have taken slightly longer then you (2 hours iirc) but ner. Cheers!

Lol hoping no one would notice the ariel tbh, it's on the list, near the bottom though :) yea yea granny trims this n that, alloys will make an appearance soon. Cheers for the comments!

Yeah I'm tight so I think I'm guns just use these on there, just putting it off, as you say fiddly to fit n all but cheers for the advise

Brings it up a treat, Paint your steelies gloss black... Wont look amazing but better than trims and looks different untill you can get alloys etc IMO

Still has a lot of potential but coming along nicely.

hurry up and get some wheels!

am i the only person that thinks the sport rear bumpers make the rear arches look far too big??
you need at least 16"s to pull off a sport rear bumper

Nah 15" TD pro races will be the choice but not for awhile, nothing wrong with trims. Tbh rather be low on trims then have alloys and be a 4x4. But thanks anyway.

Trims are for old people and women. Slammed on steelies is cool-er than wheel trims.

Standard steelies are not cool, in any way* I wish people would stop telling others they are.

Those trims are also hilarious, you can probably pick some Clio alloys up with tyres for around £150 or less!

*Other than on a 106 rallye

No point wasting £150 on wheels I don't want. Rather save n get wheels I want tbh.

The trims are staying too as steels look poverty if I'm honest
