sir_dave - why not r888's? thought they where ment to be excellant track tyres?
T1R's became our main track tyre when i was at yozzasport, nowt wrong with them, get the car setup right and the pressures spot on and they're brilliant, see the yoz video of spa for proof![]()
Imho, & havin only passengered in a car with them on. It makes things too easy in a clio, re: boring.
Anyone who mentions pradas & trackdays needs banning. - TRUE
PE2's are possibly best all round (road) tyre, fact. Excellent wet trackday tyre. - GOOD FOR A ROAD TYRE, NEVER LIKED THEM OVERALL THOUGH
R888's are fantastic in wet & dry on track but also boring, as they flatter an inexperienced driver. - SAME SORT OF MARKETING AS MILTEK, EVERYONE BELIEVES BULLSHIT
For T1R's go for 30psi hot
purely down to what you prefer, i'm on abour track here by the way
road, generally i stick to 33 front and 31 rear, but it depends on the car, the weight, etc etc etc
they dynacup for example runs 25 front and 21 rear, but it weighs nothing
