New to Clio

Hi chaps, just bought my first Clio 172 PH1, never thought about them before but after nearly buying an MGZR 160 I was hastily pushed in this direction! Just wondered how the car is likely to perform and are they easy to live with? I havnt actually driven the car myself yet as Im waiting to insure it but it seemed fine when the guy I bought it from took me in it. A few little probs are the back wiper has snapped (where the wiper blade clips in), the window (offside) keeps slipping out when shutting and there is a bit off thin white (smoke) when I rev it hard(ish), there is no gunk in the oil and the coolant levels are fine and its not overheating, I have noticed a little puddle of water under the car under the box behind the cat? Ive heared the collection of condensation in the box is bad and common and hope this is the reason, it hasnt had a good blast for a while so would this solve the (smoke)? Thanx for reading people and hope you can shed some light on the topic.........

Welcome mate. You must be mad to buy a car you've never driven. Hope that works out for you!

The 'smoke' is probably just condensation, take it for a good long drive and see if it clears up.

Yeah thats what I said to myself but I had the cash and took a gamble and it seemed fine when I was in it........... Most people Ive spoken to say its prob condensation with it being unused for a few weeks.
