New to the Clio scene and need some advice!

Hi there! My names Rob and im new to the forum. Been looking at a 57 plate clio sport 197. It looks in very good condition, has 18k on the clock and is £10k. Id like to know if this is a good price as from what i can see on Auto trader etc its not too bad. Also, do they have any common problems? What do i need to be looking out for? Thanks in advance!

If its a r27 its a reasonable price, if not- possibly no......
If you are spending £10k buy an R27 ..........

Ok thanks. The R27 is the F1 team clio right? if so, i havnt seen any with that kind of mileage for less than £11.5k ish. £10k really is my limit. So do they have any common problems to look out for? Thanks

Actually just quickly-- with a 10k budget ( you need a smidge more for a DECENT F1)

You have 2 choices & probably need to decide what your looking for-

An F1 -- gives you the Cup chassis, recaros, nice interior ( A/C or Climate depending on what was specced ) Plaque, etc etc-

Or you could get a decent Clio 197 Cup-- again- make sure you get one with recaros & speedlines-

horses for courses.....

I went to look at an f1 with 9k on the clock. Two services etc it was mint and that was 10k. Out of my price range tho!

Yea big mistake that was lol. And I could afford it but came across all sensible and went cheaper!
