New tools

After not fiddling with the car for a few months i have found by small box of tools has gone missing! must have been stolen from the garage without me knowing???

Over the years i have complied quite a few tools some specialist and quite expensive i.e. snap on etc.

Does anyone know where i can get a fairly cheap all encompsing set to get me going again? around £300?

That's a tragedy matey. If my tools were nicked I'd be devastated.

As said, a Halfords set could get you going, or have a look on the bay.
There's constantly sets of tools on there and lots of Snap-On stuff.

Any insurance to claim on?

If you decide to go with Halfrauds, make sure you find someone with a trade card, tools are DIRT cheap when using it.

yeah halfords 100 odd piece socket/spanner set is decent enough and cheap enough to get you going again.

Halfords advanced (or is it pro) stuff is decent, it isn't as strong as snap-on stuff but when you break it they swap it for free no questions asked

Only thing with Halfords Multi Tooth sockets is they chew anything up that's remotely seized, other than that, they're fine.

Halfords stuff is way over priced and crap - Teng tools are cheap and offer the same quality as snap on.
