New toy is finally here!

Picked this up on the weekend

Got a good trade for my 5D. Needed better AF in low light conditions. Such a sweet toy.

One sample for now.

Its Roller Derby. I shoot it pretty often. Its full contact based speed skating. A growing sport in the UK which started off in the U.S.

Mens league is even more brutal.

You won't regret it! Its autofocus is brilliant! I upgraded from a 20D and i couldnt go back to anything other than another 1D tbh!

What ISO are you using for the indoor stuff? I find mine suffers above 1000.

Ive had the 1D mkI before so for me, its been an easy switch.

These were ISO1250+ and had no issues what so ever.

The above was ISO1600 @ f/1.8 and a nice ss of 1/320.

Sorry but no NR applied, that is pretty much straight out the cam. WB was tungsten at the event then finely tweaked with tint slider in Lightroom. This is with a minor sharpen. No flash also.
