New Tyres AGAIN!!!

Have to renew the cup tyres again after just 4K. What with hard drivin and a trackday behind me they havent lasted long. Just wondered what tyres you all think are the best. I have contis at the mo

Mich PE2s or Goodyear GS D3s are the other ones to look out for. And see if they stock lighter shoes too

My mate has just had Goodyear Eagle F1s, and wreckons they are fantastic

Try the 205/45/16 PE2 from the 182. A little wider, and a little stiffer walled but a few £ more.

Road legal slicks will last about 1k miles

Eagle F1s look the part...........I had them on the R and wasnt impressed

So if youre buying for looks then F1s have it anything else and it just has to MICHELIN

Get some PEs 205/45, had mine on for about a month and am very impressed.

I seemed to be buying to many tyres for a car I hardly drive too.

Got some yoko a539 for £52 a tyre fitted.

Not great in the wet - but I doubt any of us would notice that much difference on a dry track.

and would it matter having 205s on the front and 195s on the back?

I have the Goodyear GSD-3s and ran them at the track sessions at FCS...

They are awesome!

Ive just fitted a set of Mich PE2s all round (195s)
