new tyres mk1 ph1

hi

Looking to get some new tyres. I have some mk1 ph1 clio alloys with no tyres on.

are they 165 or 185 across? (no ruler:() and what does what speed mean?

so its a call for measurments please.

cheers

Have a look at the tyres currently on and read what size they are.

Speed is what speed rating they need to go up to.

deepends what alloys mate - the valvers are 185/55/15.

My old RT ones were 165/65/13 I believe.

Speed rating would depend on what car you have - some barely do 100mph which is a slowish rating and some do 130mph + which is different.

I believe the rating is marked with a single letter but dont quote me on that.
