They already did . It's called the Megane 225 They won't put a 2 litre turbo in a Clio as this would step on the toes of the Megane powerwise and pricewise .

Interesting point. Honda still made the DC5 Integra despite the Civic ep3, the reason why they never released it in this country was for those reasons you rightly pointed out, basically there competing against themselves.

As for a new clio v6, it would be nice and it would sell and it would benefit the brand, im not sure what Renaults stance on their environmental impact and their ambitions for green cars but surely if they were serious the 197 would never have been produced? Ill take a gamble, i think they would make it, they would be stupid not to really, did they make a profit from the previous V6?
