Clio Sports came with 16s (195/45/16) originally and other Clio's came with 15s (185/55/15) unless they were steel wheels.

So the rolling radius on the 15s would be 292.25 and on the 15s 290.95 so the difference is so small tread wear would have the same effect. Only performance difference could come from the width of the tyres

I got the figures from some online alloy calculator as I'm swapping my 15s for 16s.

15's are cheap tyres plus they look fine to me.
