New windscreen quicky...

Would AutoGlass need to remove the wipers and scuttle panel in order to fit a new windscreen?

Cheers!

I'm sure they just cheese wire round it and lift it out. I've had a couple and don't remember them taking anything off.

yes if they never they have just lifted the two ends with a blade box at each end and have sliped it down under it .witch makes the glue line split and can give wind noise

Cheers Lee, that's what I thought.
It's just that since I had my new screen fitted two weeks ago I've aquired an annoying intermittent squeak from one of the wiper stalks!

or worse crash the car and the air bag forces the screen out and air bag

if the screen has been fitted by pushing the screen under the scuttle panel then the glue will be pushed down with the glass and 9/10 done like that wont even be glued in at the bottom .and a air bag works with the screen to push the air bag in ya face . and good chance of wind noise

Cheers, I get ya now :)

There's no wind noise and I've had the scuttle off myself and all looks perfect, just this annoying little squeak from the wiper stalk! :(
