new year, new engine!

Thanks chaps!

power is unknown yet and am not gonna guess, hope to see it near the 300bhp mark!

had the car on the rollers over in kent in june and saw 206bhp at the wheels, and that was on 21psi, t3 roller bearing turbo,chargecooler,l/b bottom end and wait for it! a standard cam!, also used water injection but but made no power difference used or not used,(only there for protection)

been testing carbs over the past 6 months and now hope for more power, this time have a knifedge crank and a cam that we have been testing aswell, also low comp pistons with steel liners,

i could drop this engine into your car and we have put this spec engine in 3 clios now and a number of near standard conversions too,

that engine less the turbo and chromed bits is priced at £1960 less your 10% discount for being a club member!

as for conversion prices!

our std labour price to club members is £1000 (normally £1250)

plus you will have to find a donar 5gtt, either an mot faliure or smashed one, and then any performance parts will be charged at a highly discounted price if done with the conversion,

but for instance, if you find a good donar car with a good engine and a few performance parts already on you could have a cliogtt for under £2000

also we have a number of people waiting for the 16v conversion for their rts, so your engine(if in good condition) is worth money!

hope this helps

Dave

the gtt lump isnt designed for top end( you would of left everybody standing by the time you hit 100mph, on a private road)

as for 0-60 times,

with a std gtt engine in a clio running 10psi it will out class a clio16v 0-100
