Hi everyone, first post...
Firstly, ended up hunting down a 182 after buying my girlfriend a 2004 1.4 privilege auto and was surprised at how good that little car actually was (obviously compared to a similar car / engine)!!
Finally found one two days ago and couldn't resist, and bought a 182 with both cup packs in black within minutes (well..) of the test drive. fantastic car, expected a lot from it and quickly realised that my expectations were too low and the feel of the car was even better than thought a little hot hatch would give. Coming from (and currently still owning) a Scooby Type R 3 dr i did not think i would be comparing the two if i'm honest but i've got to admit the little Clio really does hold its own in comparison in the corners!
Mechanically (as far as i'm aware) its sound but there are a few nicks and scratches on the body work to sort along with some of the interior having been worn down, scratched etc.
Which leads me on to my question: i'm looking for the surround trim for window switches / mirror control / door handle (not that opens the door) as they are badly scratched and thought i'd seen a picture of alloy ones which i prefer the look of, however cant seem to find them anywhere?! Am i imagining these?!
Also after gear nob insert and the silver strips on the passenger dash if anyone has them for sale?
I'm sure after my weekend of inspection there will be a lot more i need but these are the real niggles to start off with...
