newbie for ireland

hey guys,
im andy and im from ireland. my girlfriend has bought a black 2007 1.5 turbo diesel 3 door clio and wants me to mod it. problem is i know notting about these cars and from looking up the internet i am even more confused about these cars. i have always have had modded cars but they were and are all from japland.
im looking for info on lowering springs to suit her car and any small mods. a point in the right direction would b appreciated

Springs Eibach sport lines good. Apex too harsh for Irish tarmac.

yeah i was looking at h&r springs. 30mm on front and 40mm on the back but im unsure if what im looking at will suit the chassis, are they all the same ?
