172/B8 Quattro
Hi guys n girls, I maybe coming to the Clio world as I'm looking to get a 172/182 as a track toy as its seems it's the best base car to start from. I currently have a 05 impreza and from snet.
So thought I'd come over here and familiarise myself with the Do's and dont's and anythings I need to know about, I'm gonna read a few threads that I need to read before I start asking questions but couldn't access some due to not registering so here I am.
i am fully looking to strip the car out and use only for track as I have the impreza as a daily drive and don't need to worry about thrashing car if something breaks lol.
just wanted to know what's the general mods for these to get them track worthy for serious competition?
My aim is to get one as cheap as poss around £500-1500 and then chuck some money at it over time inc strip all interior out, bucket seats, momo steering wheel, coilovers, roll cage, full decat, slick tyres and a few more power and handling components.
so again my name is corky and hello all, will ask some questions soon no doubt if needed but quite familiar with most stuff, just not a specialist in these cars.
regards corky
