Newbie into- pics

Evening ya'll, I'm Amin from easy Sussex.
I am on my 5th 106, 3 Rallye's and 2 XSI's. Bit excessive right? Logical step of progression is rensport or vtec.. I like French cars too much so here I am!
My current car is a 1994 series 1 106 Rallye with a 1.6 engine conversion from a Saxo VTS.
It goes very well and can hold its own against type R's and 172/182s since having the pugsport cup car cams fitted. I'll upload a spec list for anyone interested. This lil French tin will be up for sale soon or px for a nice 182 Cup.
I had a quick taste of fast Clio last year when I owned a red 1.8 valver. Great car and induction noise was pretty sexual.

Also had a quick moment of madness when I owned a Mazdaspeed 323 GT,the flip up lights dilights did it for me,and the ladies.

get a 172 cup, or 182 full fat mate

Specify full fat please? I know the cups have slightly firmed and uprated suspension,few cosmetic differences etc so why not a 172 cup instead of 182? As you can prob tell from my prev cars I am more function over for kinda guy. I've got my mind set on a rb 182 cup like yours,I think its a lovely colour.

My 16v Rallye has set a benchmark in performance that I want my next car to exceed.
Is there a noticebale diffrence in performance between phase 1 Clios and the later 172 cups?
