Been lurking and reading for a while and already found the forum a great use to diagnose a few problems I'm having with my recently purchased 172, firstly loose engine mount under the battery tray,(fixed)
and currently on order some new plugs as no sooner had I fixed that problem have I developed a missfire,
(not used to this coming from owning several audi's previously), fingers crossed that will sort it otherwise I have read leads coil injectors etc, Did run a basic fault code reader which returned p0300 random misfire, which I cleared and has not returned although it still sounds like a bag of spanners!
Any way as the post title, I'm looking for a local specialist if anyone has any recommendations as I would like to get both belt kits done and the dephaser as it's not stamped in the book and I only have the word of the seller that they have been done,
I'm located in Morden, Surrey, if any one has some ideas
Obviously like to sort the misfire first!
