Newbie Nottingham area

Hey there,
i don't currently own a clio at the moment but i am looking at buying one as a track car, and was told about this site by a friend of mine.
I did own a polo 6n until some clown decided to crash into me head on as a result completely writing my car off and leaving my legs pretty mashed up!
on the up side with my compensation etc i am looking to replace my normal car with somthing simple, and then buy a clio as a track toy for my degree aswell due to doing a degree in motorsport engineering.

Hopefully i'll be able to get a bit of advice from you lot as Renault isn't my strong spot due to primarily being a dubber and instead of being generic and getting a mk2 golf for a track car i thought i'd test the water with french cars :rasp:
