newbie question

Hi all,
looking at getting a clio 182 sport in the new year , I have had a couple of performance cars in the past nissan gtir /and the fiat coupe 20vt,
I have been driving around in a 1.6 focus for the last couple of years so desperate for something with a bit more grunt ,
whats the performance like in the 182 against the bigger cars and are they modable ,
Any info would be great cheers .

Oh dear ... its a can of worms question is that, to which I can see a lot of people answering this! lol
The clio 182 performs pretty well compared to a lot of higher performance cars and to be fair and honest with the you the hot hatch counterparts are more or less evenly matched.. (Civic Type R, 206 GTi 180, etc) ... But for the money its the better buy.
The build quality isnt the best by far but if you are not really bothered about that then buy one ... I didnt buy my 182 with the cup pack but a lot of people on here have so I would recommend spending the extra just to get the pack. As for performance , its a nippy little motor, manufacturers specs is 0-62mph in 6.9 secs but as a lot of people have discovered it seems to be faster than that. Does keep a lot of bigger cars on its toes and its kinda fun pulling up to a set of lights and publically embarrassing someone in a bigger more expensive "fast" car!! pmsl

Yeh i was looking at the civic type r nice motor but i like the looks of the 182 plus my other half likes the 182 something for her to pop to the shops in and something fun for myself :evil:
