Just joined the forum following recommendations from vx220.org who have had a fair few owners of the clio172/182 on there over the years.
Purchased an early clio 172 mark 2 early this year for my everyday car which i've been really impressed with.
My weekend toy is a modified vx220 turbo and i wanted something that would turn mundane work journeys into a bit of fun and the clio hasn't disappointed, particularly in the handling area.
The car is totally standard which was one of my main criteria's when i was searching for one and even though i'm use to light turbo'd power i have been more than happy with the performance.
I have no plans on modifying other than when the inevitable happens and the exhaust drops off! Other than that maybe uprated pads/disks down the line. Hopefully will get to some Midlands meets in future and meet some of you guys.
