Its a mk1 RSi, not driven it yet but had a quick look around it and it seems very nice, no rust what so ever. 60k miles and full service history. Tax til may 2006 and 12month MOT. Looking at 1k for it which im happy paying. Im going back in the morning to drive it and no doubt buy it

Here is my current car

MK2 Nova SR, love this car but its failed its MOT on so many things so its getting broken, might look at fitting the speedlines to the clio though :D ;) but not sure if they will fit ok?

So just thought i would say hello

  silver valver/hybrid
hi, and welcome! that rsi looks really nice! those alloys off the sr 'may' fit with spacers, what size are they? u may have trouble getting them under the rear arches

  Megane Mk4
Heres a warm welcome to CS ... even though outside temps about 1 degree at the mo! lol

cheers, the alloys are Speedline Alesio 2's, there 16" , et49 , pcd 4x100 and tyres are 195/16/45

im sure ive seen them on another mk1 clio somewhere, not sure though. worth a try :)

If i get the car then ill become a full member... not sure whats what with the clio though, as in i know my way around the 1.4 8v engine of the nova however this engine looks completly different :S

Its going to stay standard for a while (until insurance comes down) then probs look at getting the 16v front end (are they interchangeable or is the RSi completly different? ) and some sort of induction kit, what is the best type? never had a fuel injection car before, lol.

whats the power of the rsi? looks like a smart motor!

welcome btw :)

yeah mate the front ends are interchangable. most people go for the bonnet, bumper and wings, makes the car looks so much more aggressive in my opinion..

not sure about the induction kit, most people advised me not to get one for my RT because of where it sits, but not sure if its the same on the Rsi?

hope that helps

Welcome Dave, glad you made it.

As i've said before that RSi seems like a good bit of car for the money. Especially with the few months warranty and full MOT etc.It looks really tidy etc.

I think with a bit of work the wheels would fit and would look mint if you could get them to go on. And as i've said before definetly get the valver front end on, makes a whole world of difference to the RSi

Mish :)

seems like a good buy mate, love the wheels on the nova, cant say the same for the rest of it;) :p decent low mileage for the rsi aswell

Test drove it today and have bought it today. its currently getting MOT'd then ill be picking it up later this evening

well happy, the clutch will take some getting used to but thats only cos its stoopidly stiff! other than that it seems fine.

Paid 1100 in the end. the fucker wouldnt let me have it for anyless. which is not suprising as its only just done 60k with completly mint arches all round (which makes a nice change from the nova's ive had)

More pictures to follow, probs after weekend tho as it will be dark when i pick it up

stoopid french thing, failed on steering rack gator and brake pipes. they are fixing it for me but wont have it til sunday now

gayness

worst thing is ive transfered the insurance across already so kinda carless unless i drive the nova uninsured. which i dont want to do but may have to :(

Ive picked up the new car and its really nice, goes well. still getting my head around a few things but im sure ill be fine.
