next door neighbour

hey folks,

i forgot to tell you !

last wednesday i went to my mam and dads house to fix my dads p.c. and their next door neighbour reversed into my car !!!!! leaving a hyge dent above my drivers side rear wheel arch, where the petrol cap is.

i got an estimate for it.....£400 at least !

the thing is, her insurance company havent rang me yet for all my details, i phoned my company (direct line) and they said that if she has accepted liability then her company has to pay for everything ! she is with peugeot free insurance.

what should i do....wait or chase it up ?

chase it up, make sure she knows shes paying. Real unlucky for ya mate, sorry.

your own insurance company should pay for the repairs then look to reclaim the costs from the person/insurance company who is at fault. It is up 2 your insurance company to do the chasing around. thats what we pay our premiums for. I wouldnt bother getting quotes just get your insurance company to provide an approved repairer.

If youre fully comp then yes.

Unlikely your insurance company will chase her for the details.

i have phoned her insurance company today and played hell and they have said to me that i can go to any garage i like and get a quote and they will fit the bill !

im over the moon !!!!
