Nice blue Xenon headlamp replacement?

one of my Xenons has gone ...
I remember someone on here having bought some off ebay that were even bluer (is that a word) than the normal Xenons... but cant find the post...
any ideas guys?

I'm just looking for the Xenon bulb replacement... but as opposed to being robbed by Ren I know a few people here get them off Ebay.

I got the 6000K as well.
D2S is the right fitting.

"bluer" does not mean better.

Increasing the kelvin rating changes the colour, the 172/182 are around 5200k producing a crisp white light.

Going higher up will start to go bluer all the way to purple.

You dont gain anything more, infact light output gets worse, the optimum output is around what the standard ones are producing a clear white light.

Well hmm how can I put this

They are slightly more blue-ish but only minimal.
Factory is 4300k (which is almost daylight / sunlight - most light on the road)
Higher will be more blue and will give less light on the road.

8.000 or 10.000k are really blue / purple or even 12.000k you can get. (I'm not sure if those are legal)

6000k is noticable more bright then the factory fitted 4300k.
I'm well pleased with mine anyway.

Go for either Philips or Osram (basicly OEM).
