Nikon Coolpix L100

Hi guys, I know vitually nothing about photography, however getting into it abit more and my current compact digital camera isnt upto task.

Photos seem blury and focus is rubbish.

Now for the next step up, does anyone know if the above camera is any good for taking decent photo's?

Seen it on the Argos site as they seem to have some "lower end" cameras more in my buget as opposed to Jessops lol

No more than £250 to spend realistically.

Trouble is the L100 is a point and shoot with a big zoom, no manual controls like the Canon SX 120 or Sony HX1 and HX5.

Ime a complete novice though so I think this one will be a good set up before SLR's

It has continuous shooting aswell which ide like, so I can shoot fast cars y0! lol
