its not a v spec its a spec v...

its a lighter more track focussed car...

if u look at the extra parts that come on it u see why its more expensive
brake pads... wait for it ... £16,740
if u want the discs aswell that is £35,520
different turbo's costing £7435 EACH

people that have driven it said its alot more focussed and the brakes and handling upgrades do make a big difference but maybe not double the price difference...

there is a review in EVO this month.
havent had chance to read it yet, the summary says its got awsome handling and brakes, i cant help thinking you could send a standard gtr to a specialist and get the same performance for half the difference!

Says in EVO you need 30k to replace discs and pads, that's just ridiculous.ill have a Black edition thanks.

brakes are carbon ceramic its not hard to know how much carbon ceramic brakes are normally thats a pretty regular price lol

£30K for pads? entry level F1 AP Racing calipers and bugati carbon discs pads cost about that! and that includes Pankl bits!

when I drove one the car felt very focussed to me and the brakes and handling were already superb, so not sure how much better it gets ...

your not serious.
How much is it for a brake service then? Ie new disks and pads? it can't be 35k?

"the only downside is that when you do need to replace your pads and discs, you'd better have upwards of £36,000 in your back pocket..."

Has everyone not heard of the term "diminishing returns"?

The standard GT-R is already stupidly cheap for the performance it offers. Half the price of what it could have been to begin with TBH.

Its not perfection...its a lame ass car that looks s**t, has turbos and no soul.

You sir a blinded by the JDM virus, 5 x worse than HIV.....which you also have.

you must be joking - it is definitely not a lame ass car that looks s**t - and for the price you cannot beat the performance ....

i'm with Ben on this, its a bit, well, unexciting really, i'll take a used Gallardo for that money thanks!

^ Same! It's all about the soul and persona of the car. ALL JAP CARS ARE SOULESS...

Pre 72 and they start getting better!

When has straight up performance been a priority.......just get a caterfield and live with a tonneu cover.

flippy flappy, launch controlly, flat torquey curvey, dull sounding and jap styling nastyness...and that inerior......and like i said, zero soul....its just so bland.

Infact, for the money ALL you are getting is performance, because it certainly doesnt delivery anything else.

Its just my opinion, which means nothing, i'm just ranting and I know loads of people think its the bee's knees.....but its tripe. Spending that money I want to be able to drive the flipping thing.

vette = win

Used?
not far off new price, £123,000!
My mates dad sold his Gallardo and bought an R8, prefer's it.
i would go for that on the budget unless i neede 4 seat's, thats when the cheaper again rs4 comes in.

probably do, and i wouldnt buy anything related to audi ever.....nor a modern rari really......none of them look good either.

  C63 PP,R1,,Clubman
Gearbox aside lol,You can get a 5 year old lambo with less performance 2 less seats, probably double the service costs crap reliability and massive depreciation for the price of a brand new GTR.

  Lionel Richie
drive one, you'll soon change your mind! no one does passion like the Italigermans!

all our cars have needed over the years are clutches and oil changes, we've lost 1 engine last year, but thats it
