Had my car back not long ago from having a new gearbox,clutch,...had it back 3 weeks and it was crunching in 3rd..i was told i was my gear selector so took it back to the garage( under warranty )last friday and they just phoned say the gearbox is f**ked again and needs a new one..! not happy at all now im stuck with a ford fusion courtsey car( sh*t ) just want my 1*2 back! had enough trouble with since ive had it think i got an unlucky one!!

this is the 3rd gear box in 6 months

yeah i allways race at the start before the police appear..then park up ...always crunches in 3rd...next time i see you racing we ll have a little play aye? i have too stop after few laps anyway brakes stop working for some reason!!dunno if its my abs or too hot!

must be the garages fault! (or you must change gear at 7k everychange?3 gearboxes!
i worked as a salesman at alfa for a while, one idiot replaced a box and sent it out without oil!!!! It made it 22 miles.

My 172 is still on it's original gearbox, it's now done 95,000 miles.

was it a new box or was it 'reconditioned'. i'm on my second and rather suspect that the people who 'reconditioned' it just took it out, fixed the problem it had, sprayed it, and put it back in again.

the gearboxes are sh*te though
