No claims bonus

Thick question , i recived my 1 years no claims bonus from my old insurance company for my old car.

Can i take the no claims bonus to a new insurance company to prove that i have been claim free for the past 12 months?

Or does it become void when i changed cars/insurance companys?

Yes you can. As long it's not some bonus accelerator scheme or some shizzle (I think).
