No door cards - mot?

Recently put a bucket seat in super low and Ive no room so just want to remove the door card, will they fail it on having sharp ish metal and crap right next to me? Cant move with it in place even just driving there is a hassle

As long as all the door handle to open the door is still there, I can't see it being a problem.

@Chrisgti6 ? Gonna order some stuff to diy it. Thought about cutting into the oem arm rest and moving it down but its not worth it.

Nothing in the MoT regulations about that, I checked recently when I removed my door cards.

They get upset about sharp bits on the bodywork that could injure pedestrians but the driver can spray blood all over the interior, not a problem

Just clocked that my door was spare parts from 2012 ? I think the previous owner had a bit of blood spray him self haha

I'd have a chat with @Track-car-doorcards, for a few quid it saves the hassle of diy. I've personally had 2 sets, and have a 3rd set being done shortly
