No Fogs !!!

Driving around edinburgh last night when it was quite foggy and noticed the front fog lights didnt work. No light on the dash either except for the rear ones.

Pulled into petrol station and checked fuses but were fine. Then the alarm went off for no reason (4 flashes?) for the first time ever when it was locked as i was paying inside.

Bit annoying with the recent weather. Anyone got any ideas what it could be? Would the light on the dash go off when the connection is lost?

I wrote a large post recinelty it might be stickied on a page of the forum that tellls you all about the alarm beeps and meaning etc and how to fix them.

I know that the fog symbol still comes on, on the dash if lights don't work. Check fog connection.
