No Heat

Looking for some advice regarding my Ph2 172.

Used the car tonight and went to turn the heating up as t was chilly and noticed that its only blowing cold air.
Now I'm wondering if its either going to be the Fan resistor pack or the thermostat ?

The car gets up to temp fine and and runs with the fan kicking in when it should and the radiator pipes getting hot also.

Would the resistor pack stop heat but still let the blower blow air all be it cold air ?

Resistor pack only controls fan speed as far as I'm aware.

I rekkon you need to look towards the little motor on the side of the heater unit in the foot well

Hmmm, I have never heard of the "Little Motor"

Where is this about and what does it do ? if its not the resistor pack and aiming for the stat thats needing changed.

Possible that yours is stuck on cold rather than hot?

It has been fine all today and tonight.

Im going with a sticky stat so will be going into SWR to get a new one with a full coolant flush.
