No more Exterior work for me.

  Valver Lookalike Mk1 Ph3
Mk1 Ph3.

After having my wing mirror smashed and being keyed for the 8th time I've decided I'm not going to spend another penny on the exterior of my car.

Atm it still has some damage to the rear quater panel, and the back & front are both diff colours to the main body of the car (due to a crash, after which I did a front valver body conversion). I did plan to get this all sorted as I love the car and got a great quote, but I'm jst plain fed up with vandalism.

I am moving house next year and finally getting out of the rough are I have lived in my whole life. Once I am moved and settled the car's exterior will become a priority again. Until then, it will just have to look a sorry state :(.

I plan to save any money I earn to get laser eye surgery (about £3000), I have my consultation in November.

Laser eye surgery sounds like it would be a much more beneficial way of spending those hard earned readies!

Just hope after you get it done you don't notice scratches easier!!

Rofl.

The thought of never having to wear contact lenses again sounds beyond belief for me, the exchange from glasses>contact lenses was amazing - so I'm hoping this will be even more so.

With laser eyse surgery tho there are no guarantees...fingers crossed eh.

Just plain w*****s.

I've got no quarrels with any1 atm, it's not just my car that's being done, every1 along my road gets it.

I went for lazer surgery with Optimax Newcastle. Was so happy but then after the tests I was not suitable because the surface of my eyes is not smooth enough. b*****d! I am saying this so if the worst happens (god forbid) that you might prepare yourself for it-I went on a shopping spree that day lol

Didn't even know the surface of your eyes being smooth was a factor, thx for the info m8.

I guess if the same happens to me then the car will get done lol.

I want lazer surgery, think you've gotta be 21 though, not much of a problem but I thought it was only about £500 a eye, does it depend a little on the strength correction?

Yeah the price depends on strength of correction really (plus added options). To have laser eyes surgery you have to have a steady eye prescription, while your young your eyes are still changing, I may well have to wait 6 months, but its a free consultation - so nothing ventured, nothing gained.
