Have noticed for while now that when I go around bends at any speed, to the left, I have this loud knocking noise (metal on metal) and passenger can feel it in the floor plate and i can feel it in the steering.
Its spent 2 days in garage and had full service mot etc, all parts stripped down cleaned and no fault has been found, it wasnt renault that did it, was a local guy who been in business for 30 odd years and was head tech for bmw so he knows his s**t!
It only does this when turning left, going right, forwards or back is fine, just left!
I took wheel off and took few snaps see if any of you's can see anything out of place or f**ked up, cos i cant!
Ok so thats those! Then i got my head under to see if anythin obvious was wrong under there!
Im unsure whether its supposed to be this loose but . . . this is the gear control with me puttin a lil bit of movement on it, then shakin it lol . . .
Is that normal? plus would that make the noking noise as im turning left only?
