Noise on my MK1 172...........

Guys,



I need some help with a noise that my MK1 172 is making between 6-6,500 revs. I don’t think it is the infamous whistle from the wing mirrors, sounds more like it comes from the engine. It is like a rattle/whistle but is only between these revs. Anyone had this before or got any ideas before I take it to the Renault dealership?

Mine does something that sounds similar. I thought it was coming from the injectors working a bit harder at these revs? Could be wrong though.
