Noisey on cold start

Not long had my ph2 172 and ive noticed a kind of loose noise when started from cold. Once the engines got to temp its gone. Could this be the water pump on its way out? If so how much to fix??

Sounds like your dephaser pulley bearings are worn. Check service history, neglecting oil changes can cause this. There are loads of threads on here about it.

Not too sure but thinks it is advised to change the belts at the same time. Quite expensive. Look in traders at Fred's price guide but you are prob looking at £600ish. Mine does it but not going to bother as had the belts done recently. What is the service history like on yours?
