noisy tyres????

im guessin that road noise will vary across different makes and tread patterns of tyres?
am i correct?
i noticing a sound on motorway thats a BIT like wheel bearings but only become noticeable since a change of wheels and tyres.
hmmm, anyone?

I had some budget tyres and they were very loud, got some better ones now and they're less noisy.

nah not them mate. i got some new wheels which came with tyres on em.
vredestein or sumthin. do the job tho definately - not tried em in wet yet tho.

Yes, you are correct.

Reducing noise is one of the things that some tyre companies put a lot of effort into. Others don't try.

Yes, as Gordon said, cheap tyres are noticeably noisier than a decent set. They can also become noisey if the tyres out of shape, too flat, or if the treads start to lift on one edge.
