Noki N80 reception on Vodafone

Has anyone noticed that vodafones reception on the N80 is really poor, in places i used to have poor reception, i now have none . and in places where it wasnt to bad, it now really poor?

tools, settings, network, network mode, change it to gsm, seems to work for me. just means no 3g

the N80 is a s**t phone for signal on any network.
