We cant get it set up

Is there a simple way as the user manual is 70 pages long and im not much of a reader!

Nope there isnt a quick set-up guide in the manual, it says you need to removed the cover to update the software but doesnt tell me what im looking for once I open the cover or what software I need 2 put on it??:s So I am totally lost!

most of these d-boxs you have to update / re-flash the momory so it works.
u need something like these images http://www.dreamboxworld.com/dbw/dbox-2.htm

you basically hook up the nokia box to the pc, update the dbox reboot it.. then you can set it up.
did u not get any cds / dvds with it? ps not any image will suit your box.. you will need more specifics mate.
it aint easy. if you wanted easy you should have gone for the other type of box which is plug and play.

tbh mate, I would prefere just to get the plug and play one. Is it the Dbox 2?

nope, you need something like a starview box. again they do need updating now and then. but not as complicated (or as powerful)as the dbox.
