I'm gobsmacked with the versatility of this thing.

I was just chatting to someone on skype, and now here i am posting a reply on the forum!

All on my E65 of course. I'd get a bluetooth keyboard to go with it though, as all this writing is giving me a thumb ache!

If you take pictures its N73 if not its E65.

Have you used S60 before? its odd coming from S40 just to warn you.

Infact scrap that the N73 is quite buggy and you have a DSLR. E65

Mine has just arrived.

Seems nice in the hand, looks okay. Just going to order a decent sized Micro SD card for it and put it on charge.

I got myself a Sandisk 2GB high speed micro SD from pictop... guraranteed next day delivery for around £25.

I'm very pleased... and it's bloody quick (in a card reader). The nokia data cable connection doesn't support USB 2.0 for some silly reason.

im testing out a phone for nokia at my work its pretty cool. does VOIP on your local LAN then keeps the local voice network number as you walk out of wireless range and into GPS territory .. well thats the theory im trying to work it out for them lol

Ive seen a simlar system being used.
Although as wifi coverage increases it becomes redundant.

Seems hillarious that we've all been using VOIP for years over standard cellular networks.
All you need to do is upgrade the network to route through the web, but its a security risk.

S65? Mate its probably an E65, as there are no nokias with that designation not even prototypes.

S60 FP1 and 2 supports the tech your testing.

its pretty cool, the screen is very good as good as a home pc LCD. also web access, java stuff as usual. but the wireless LAN stuff is what we need as its a PDA our doctors can take down notes and calls with their cisco voip phone extension being mated to the Nokia as a second extension so there never away from their desk..

also just installed and done the maps for the cisco location tracker so i know where people are roaming at work and how long they have been there so no 30min bog breaks..

geeks will ruin it for people skiving lol

I was due a upgrade back in January but there doesn't seem to be any decent phones about at the moment!

I'm with o2. The handset was free and my tarrif is discount 250. I'm with o2 business so had to add bolt on texts which cost me a bit compared to the cost of calls and the tarrif, which works out at just over £12 plus VAT. I've been with them years so they now offer me their best price. Although I tried to blag more texts. lol

Tom I've got a couple of questions.

Camera shutter sound....I need to kill it. I

The gallery....both video and pics are all shown in one massive list, but I want to browse by folder. I can browse by folder in file manager, but then I can't scroll through the pics once opened. Any ideas? I suspect I'm being dumb.

Thats how the gallery is im afraid.

And try turning off warning tones, if that dont work then its permanent.

just had one in my hand, is nice, small. i own the e61 for work and it's identical maybeslightly faster but then it's new.... other than that, it's the same with a camera...and without the keyboard.

like it a lot.
