nokia N95

right who on here has got a nokia N95 that actually works properly.. as in neva crashes or turnes off in the middle of doin sumthing and the battery lasts more than 5hours... i just want to no if its just my phone or do other peoples do he same coz its begining 2 annoy me..thnx

Well mine freezes when i open the camera sometimes, then just randomly crashes and restarts. Have got latest firmware etc but no luck

mine crashes now and then usually reboots its self and thats about all thats up and my batt is fine if i charge it everynight.

Mine is even worse, it will randomly go into a strange symbol mode where I cant text or type in any numbers, the phone needs to be turned off for a least half an hour before it will work again. Also, the backlight will go on and off constantly in my pocket using a full battery charge in a few hours..... I'm gunna get a new phone.

mines jus got even worse now its started to decide oh the screen wont cum on but the phone will still work then it goes in to lyk a ghey mode and just dosent work... ment to be a top of the range phone at this moment in time id rather have the old style nokia

bah, upgrade to the v.20 software. i havnt had ANY problems with mine, and ive been using the v.20 since it weas released.

Upgrade the firmware to the latest verison.

Before I upgraded to V20 (the 8GB firmware) my phone was unstable and crashed.. since V20 its been 100% perfect for the last 3-4 months.

Turn off all tracking options and switch to GSM only, Im on o2 PAYG and have standalone Sat Nav so this was ideal, makes battery life last a few days

Tracking options? And don't switch to GSM only if you use email or internet, you'd be there all day!

My phone's pretty much flawless, battery aint wonderful, but depends what you use the phone for. Camera, wifi, 3g, GPS,.. they use a lot of juice!

i upgraded mine today after reading further up you could do it i was running v12 before now 20 obv and now my tomtom 6 software works and the ngage games look cool

Does upgrading the firmware blank your phone to default? i.e. do you loose contacts, pics etc.. ?

yeh you need to back it all up first as far as i can tell you can only get the n gage games fo the n80 and 81 or something and they will have it out soon for all others according to the site
