What lense and shutter speeds we're you using rich?

Mixed bunch Al

Canon 300mm f/4L or Canon 70-200mm f4/L both sometimes with an 1.4 extender.

1/125 to 1/320 Second

Cheers. Tried a mix with mine too....with very varied results!

For me all depends on the focal length and type of shot. Side on pans with the light 70-200 are east at 1/100 - 1/200.

Heavier 300 mm rarely under 1/320.

Got quite a few at 1/80 at 300mm which is where the varied lot are, some really good, sum unbeleivably bad! :o

1/125 seems to be a good alrounder, and just left if on auto for some tripodding trophy shots ;)

You do better then me - I stay 1/200 - 1/320 to be safe most the time! Never risk less than 1/100. Need a monopod really.

TBH I should have stayed 1/200 and above like you say really, it was a little windy in the stand :o

The rule is supposed to be 1 over focal length ie at 300mm you should be not at more than 1/300, 200mm - 1/200. But most this does not seem to apply in M/sport photog.

Practice makes perfect - one day 1/80 pans will seem easy - I hope!

Did u guys like the 5 GTTi of MBCarperformance, at 1,5 bar/21 psi it runs 226 bhp and at 2 bar/28psi it runs 260 bhp.
