    the insurance system is a f**king piss take! some knob head pulled out frm the kerb straight into my line of driving causing me 2 slam on brakes but he was 2 close and i hit his rear quarter. i know its sounds bad for me and that he can easily claim i just drove into him (as he is doing) but frm where the damage was on both cars u can tell he was at a pulling out angle in the road, also i have taken lots of picture evidence and wrote lots of notes. norwich unions solicitors irwin mitchell say that i have a good case so im hoping that end of year i will finally get some bloody money for a car that was written off on 31st dec 2005! also will it afffect my NCD i cnt see it being so as it it as classed as his fault i wudnt have made a claim on my policy? am i right?:S

if its classed as not your fault, your NCD wont be affected. This doesn't mean your premium wont go up ! do a few quotes online declaring that you have had a non fault accident and you will see what i mena. ive had a couple of non faults :( if i stay with my current insurance provider they will keep my premium low, but if i try to change to another provider you can guarantee to double the payments.
You can try to claim this back.... but ive never had any luck doing it. it sucks.

It is very unfair that insurance companies increase someones premium when it not thats persons fault - b******s

i had a accident a guy pulled out on me and caused me to swerve and hit a lampost, after police proceedings it was found to be his fault, he never accepted liability but when the police tell his insurance to pay out they have no choice, it hasnt effected my premiums

If u had a none fault claim it should not affect your premium in any way. The worst ones are were your car gets stolen, vandalised etc. Not your fault but it does affect your ncd
