Ive got a really bold lettering with chrome shadow. Doesnt change the look of the letters, never been pulled over for it yet. (fingers crossed)

You may not get pulled for it, but it will fail its MOT, i presume you have a legal set to swap for the day?

well there clamping down more and more on plates

you wanna see all the crap we have to fill out at work just to make a plate up for someone

the idea is it stops people jus comin in and havin any old plate made up, but its makin em steal em off the cars now

The plod seem to hate dodgy plates on bikes more than cars

My bike has a plate thats 1 inch smaller than standard all round, and the font is non-legal (but still completely readable). Not been stopped yet in over 6 months of use.

Usual fine is around £45 and a rectification notice. You have to get a legal plate fitted and the form stamped by an MOT station.

Youll find that bikers usually know the answers to these sorts of questions ;)

If you see a white one you know to get the hell out of the way!!!

If you see the yellow one you know there is no need to worry :)

He must have a new car, in which case, he could have 3 years of no MOT

The worst that happens if you are stopped for an illegal pate is a £30 fine. You cant get points for it.

u work at halfords brun?

i make plates alll day long!

we sell them as "signs" ;)

made exactly the same way as usually would be also, so completely road legal if you have standard legal plates off course

we can do anything on a reg plate tho, but it then becomes ILLEGAL

the company who made the plate also gets a £2000 fine aswell, hence why i refuse to make a plate without all the documents matching up and being 100% proper...

i got a 25 pound and they said if i get caught again id get it taken of me(number plate), all i had was illegal spacing otherwise totally legal.

Big fines and points come into effect when changing altering plates
