Nos...

What's the difference between dry and wet NOS??

I'm guessing one is direct into the engine (wet) and another via ???

A fuel injected dry manifold system uses a nitrous ONLY injector to deliver only nitrous oxide to the intake. A wet manifold system introduces fuel and nitrous into the intake manifold usually through a combined fuel and nitrous injector. With a dry manifold system, the additional fuel is supplied by increasing fuel delivery through the original fuel injectors when the nitrous system is activated. It is called a dry manifold system because there isn't any fuel present in the intake manifold.

Cheers Simon, although I'm going to have to read it a couple of times to understand it.

you do NOT want a dry kit on a normal car..

you want a wet kit

as far as i know adrian flux are the only people who insure n2o and they will ONLY insure wizards of nos kits..

  Volvo S60 T5
50 shot, and it was ace, if you fire it off at the rite time the car flew.
Cost a bloody fortune to keep refilling the bottle £50 for 10 to 15 mins worth of gas.
run 5.98 0-60 with it.
I doubt you will find an insurance company who will touch it now, cost me another 150 quid on my insurance.
Got rid of it as I needed the boot space.

oh dear.. cold fusion kit by the looks of things? suprised it didnt go bang..

j3ned had a wizards of nos streetblast kit.. same as what i had

when will people realise it ISNT f**king NOS.. been watching too much tv.

nos is a brand name

its nitrous oxide (N2O)

i used to just fill mine up for drag racing, get a full day of drag racing out of it then some to play with the next evening. gets costly (45 quid for 11lb bottle to be refilled) if used too much.

it does.. Nitrous Oxide Systems is a company name

a Nitrous Oxide kit is what you buy

a Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) Kit is a Nitrous oxide kit made by NOS.

'NOS' is commonly used among the retards to describe
the stuff that when you push the button on the steering wheel, your vision goes blurry, your exhaust flames and your passenger floor pan falls out causing sparks then magicaly re appears 3 minutes later.
