  Clio Campus / CRX 16v
Hi guys, my names Ian.

I work as a mechanic for Renault, have done for 5 years now and have come on here for three things.

1) To learn more about the sport range, as I understand there are some very knowledgeable enthusiasts on here.

2) To get an insight into what you guys like/dislike about dealerships to help with the progress of the garage I work for.

3) Hopefully to share my own knowledge of the product.

Bit more about me, I'm heavily into motorsport - mainly following my brothers career (Ant Davidson in F1) but also try to make as many other motorsport events throughout the year. I like music, I've got 3 guitars and like bands like Chimaira to Maximo Park and still mix 98-02/3 Drum and Bass.

I drive a 56 plate Silver Clio Campus Sport, with fluffy dice and Darwin-fish badge but otherwise standard. And also have a 1991 Honda CRX 16v, fully stripped, bucket seat/harness, D2 coilies and saving for 4-pot Wilwoods. Been to the 'ring and bridge to gantry my best casio recorded time was a 9.34 with a couple of yellow flags (too scared to boot it past the flashing cars lol)

Errm, other cars I've owned - 1989 CRX in red, best 1/4 time of 15.326 @ 90.00. Also a 1969 Triumph Vitesse mk2 in yellow/white...Magical car! I won't tell you about my Nova days...even if I did put the 1.3SR goodies on the 1.2 and the Redtop GTE front brakes...It sucked!

Anyway, that's enough...

Cheers, Ian
