not sanding badges

sorry if this a stupid question

but if i do not sand my badges before spraying them.. would the outcome still be good..?

simply the answer would be no. to do it really good you need to sand, then primer then colour. ive never tried a colour straight on the standard silver it won't bond as good as if you did it with primer

really you could just have a go and see what it turns out like.... if it looks a c*nt then sand it all down and do it properly. it doesn't take that long really, have a go you don't know untill you try matey. :D
