Number Plates

Do any of you know the rules about front number plates.

When im back from greece im getting a body kit, dont want a plate blocking up my grill, could i mount one on the side or in thw windscreen for example, or get one of the motorbike sized plates for the front.

you can do what you like size wise, but if you get stopped its £30

as for placement im not sure. you can put it to the side (like some alfas) but it wont look balanced. dont think you'd get away with it in your window.

dont they have to be a certain height from the floor?
