number plates

How do you get the plates off of a new clio? they have a special screw in there, i dont intend on keeping them as i got new plates and pads but does any one know how to get em out?

Replacing them with what? No point unless they are broke. Special screw might be a torx bit?

no its a crossed 3 plastic screw

Do you not just flick the lip off the plastic cap and then underneath that theres either a screw or torx screw.. I may be wrong but thats how I got mine off..

Not on the new ones theres a stupid lil plastic 3 point screw, i'll take it to the dealer tomorrow and get em to do it

Think torx arent being used much because they're alot more common now
