Im changeing the plates on V6, the current ones are stuck on. Whats the best way to take them off? Just pull them? Didnt want to damage the paint underneath.

Normally safe just pulling them but could try sawing the sticky stuff with thin wire.

Or a hairdryer to heat up the glue.

And if you use Velcro when refitting youll never have the problem again.

only problem you will have is some t**ser pinching your plates

Mine were on solid with rivet nuts! Damn things took ages to get off. Mind you I was using my teeth. A drill seemed to do the job in the end.
