Nvidia 7600GT 256mb ddr3 AGP

for an AGP card it will be the best of a dwindling bunch - pretty fast clocks and you will be able to play Battlefield 2, World of Warcraft, Warhammer 40k Dark Crusade, Counterstrike etc on relatively high settings if coupled with good ram and cpu.

Its not the quickest but its a well priced stop gap for those who havent taken the very much belated leap to PCI.

use overclockers to get one.

That help?

Thanks mate. Very helpful.

Just got one from the local shop for £90.

I'll let you know how I get on!

Thanks again.

Got the same but a 7300, used the ati tool to overclock it, upped the core and mem 20% very easily (600/800). Plays most games quite nicely.

Whats the difference between normal Nvidia drivers and forceware drivers?

Or are they the same thing?

They are the same thing I think (ps I've got an ATI card lol) I'd install the very latest drivers, assuming your on XP they can be found below :-

^ whoops - sounds like you'll actually want the previous version of the above driver as Guru suggest the above have problems

I have dual boot vista and xp, so I'll be grabbing both sets.

Hopefully means i''l be able to run the SM 3.0 games like Rainbow 6 vegas.
